On today’s episode we talked about the extremely important “non-scale victories”
Those discussed were:
- Clothes fit better
- Energy levels
- Better sleep
- Sex drive
- Better relationship with food
- Gym perfomance
Who has been guilty of putting too much emphasis on that damn scale? Raise ’em high for the people in the back! The scale is important. We aren’t arguing that it’s not. But it’s one part of MANY different equations in this whole deal. For some, the scale carries a heavier emphasis, let’s say a 400lb client. Then you look at a 135lb female trying to do a re-comp, the scale carries very little emphasis.
Sometimes the scale won’t change, but MANY other changes are happening!
Oh, and let’s not forget to mention how important your relationship with food is for your long term success.
We would argue it’s THE most important factor.
